PRS expands its Korean guitar catalog with three new models. PRS SE CE 24, SE Swamp Ash Special and SE Custom 24 Quilt are an interesting proposition for both fans of modern designs and PRS classics.
PRS SE CE 24 refers to the legendary CE 24, i.e. a design from 1988. Just like the original, it has a mahogany body with a maple top and a rosewood fingerboard. The SE CE 24, like the SE Swamp Ash Special model, is equipped with a new way of connecting the neck to the body, providing greater comfort in accessing high frets. The guitar is equipped with a set of PRS 85/15 “S” pickups and is available in the following colors: Black Cherry, Blood Orange, Turquoise, Vintage Sunburst.
The SE Swamp Ash Special, on the other hand, is, as the name suggests, an instrument made of swamp ash (body) and maple (fretboard). “Under the hood” there is a duo of 85/15 “S” humbuckers and an AS-01 Single Coil “S” single. Color versions available: Charcoal, Iri Blue and Vintage Sunburst.
The last of the new models is the SE Custom 24 Quilt. This mahogany monster is decorated with maple veneer (top and headstock) and the fingerboard is made of beautiful ebony. Available color versions are: Black Gold Burst, Turquoise, and Violet.
